Texas Instruments Names Gabriel Flores Vice President of Human Resources for the Technology and Manufacturing Group

DALLAS (February 22, 2013) – Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) today announced Gabriel Flores has been elected a vice president of the company. As vice president of human resources for TI’s global Technology and Manufacturing Group (TMG), Flores drives the overall strategy for the organization’s most important asset – its people.
“I am very pleased to have Gabriel elected as a vice president of human resources,” said Darla Whitaker, senior vice president of TI human resources. “His strong business sense and leadership will be valuable in our efforts to recruit, retain and develop the talent the TMG organization needs to support the company’s growth.”
Flores joined TI in 1996 and has held several positions within human resources, most recently as human resources director for the company’s Worldwide Sales and Marketing organization.
Flores earned a Bachelor’s degree in history and a Master’s degree in public administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
