Feb 22, 2013
DALLAS (February 22, 2013) – Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ:TXN) announced that Shanon Leonard has been elected a vice president of the company. As vice president of human resources for TI’s embedded processing business unit, Leonard will define and implement organizational and operational strategies that will provide a solid foundation for all of TI’s people.
“Shanon’s advancement to vice president of human resources for our embedded processing organization is well-deserved,” said Darla Whitaker, senior vice president of human resources. “He has worked across multiple product lines in his time at TI, giving him broad experience in human resource strategies. This diverse skillset will enable him to strongly lead the company’s embedded processing recruiting and retention efforts.”
Leonard joined TI in 2000 as a manager of human resources for sensor products. He has held numerous HR positions within a variety of TI businesses, including ASIC products and digital signal processing, as well as application-specific products (ASP) and embedded processing.
Leonard earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
