New Orleans,  LA, United States., March 14, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) - Developer First Medical Imaging announced today the release of the Tic Tac Mo application, available on iTunes in the games category for $0.99. Tic Tac Mo is a revolutionary updated version of the classic tic tac toe game. This includes having 3 players using the symbols X, O, and Y unique to the game. Users will instantly recognize the familiar theme, with some innovative new twists.
“Countless people around the world grew up playing tic tac toe,” said Dr. Ken Mask of First Medical Imaging. However, a common criticism is that there were ways to guarantee a win or draw. There’s no fun in that, so we decided to shake up the formula and create a game that was innovative and entertaining as well as traditional." To get started, users will first select the number of live players in the game. They have the option of either facing up to two other live players, or going against the computer. Players are assigned a symbol upon selection that will serve as their space marker.
Gameplay essentially follows the same rules as traditional tic tac toe. However the grid is unlike a traditional game board. Spaces are organized as 5 by 3 to account for the extra player, as well as increase the difficulty level. Upon their turn, each player will place their symbol in an empty square on the grid. The first player to achieve three symbols in a row is the winner. Additionally, participants can view their number of wins displayed near the bottom of the page. “Tic Tac Mo is a family friendly game that offers a new, creative spin on an old classic,” said Dr. Mask.“ The familiarity and progressive style of the game will encourage a wide range of users from all ages. It’s always exciting to create a game that can really help bring people together to have fun.
Many players will remember playing traditional tic tac toe to pass the time. Tic Tac Mo will offer users a dose of nostalgia on a convenient, exciting new platform. The engaging, familiar format allows players to adapt quickly to Tic Tac Mo, and immediately start enjoying the game with friends. The intuitive gameplay and colorful design makes Tic Tac Mo an addictive and fun game for players of all ages.
