The Caretaker is being shown at The Trafalgar Studios from 12 January 2010 to 17 April 2010. Starring Jonathan Pryce - whose past credits include 'Cranford', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and 'Tomorrow Never Dies' - plays the role of Davies, a tramp who is down on his luck. Davies gets befriended by Aston, who is mentally challenged, and invites him to live with him in his apartment. Tensions run high as Aston's brother, Mick, is introduced, leading to distrust and compelling interaction between the three.

The play has been described in quarters as 'within the theatre of the absurd' and pushes a lot of boundaries. It involves neat choreography and often-bizarre props and set pieces which helped it to become Pinter's first smash hit play. Critical reception of The Caretaker has always been high, and theatre tickets for The Caretaker are now available through the Concierge Desk website.
