Top NFL superstars train for season, meet service members at MCAS Miramar

Current players from the National Football League are scheduled to train and meet Marines, Sailors and families at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Tuesday at 10 a.m. – 12:50 p.m.

Current NFL stars Drew Brees, Darren Sproles, Carson Palmer and other NFL players are scheduled to conduct a workout, conduct pass-and-throw drills with Marines, and sign autographs and pictures at the event. The event is free and open to Marines, Sailors and their families as a show of military appreciation on behalf of the NFL players.

Interested media must RSVP with the Miramar Public Affairs Office at (858) 577-6000 or by 4 p.m. Monday. Media are scheduled to have an opportunity to interview the NFL players prior to the start of the event at 9:45 a.m. and potentially at the conclusion of the event.
