TOURNUS EQUIPEMENT will introduce its shelving at the NRA Show from May 21 to 24, 2011. TOURNUS has manufactured catering equipment since 1910. The company has become the European leader in stainless steel professional equipment and is debuting its flagship shelving system to the U.S. market at booth 5351 in the North Hall of McCormick Place in Chicago.

The shelving system is comprised of easy-to-assemble shelves and uprights available in various sizes for a customized fit in any commercial kitchen, catering venue or retail establishment. Add-on units are available for creating systems that follow corners.

The rust-free shelves (made of anodized aluminum and stainless steel fasteners) as well as the food-grade plastic composite shelves can withstand temperatures between -22°F to 194°F, making them appropriate in a wide range of environments. The plastic shelves break down to a convenient size for easy washing in a sink or dishwasher. This ease in cleaning adds yet another hygienic advantage and flexibilty for the end-user.

The TOURNUS modular shelving system was the first company to introduce removable and washable shelves 25 years ago. This system was first NSF-certified in 1985, and has been an industry standard in Europe ever since. This year's NRA Show marks the first time that TOURNUS is bringing the shelving system to the United States.

TOURNUS is looking for distributors in the United States and Canada with national or regional representation. There are varying heights, lengths and widths to fit any storage configuration. The basic unit shown in photo 1 (69x39x20 inches) will cost approximately $240 USD retail.
