Sydney, 10 March 2014 – Leading global consultant Towers Watson has made three new appointments in its Australian Investment team, comprising two investment consultants and one investment analyst. This follows the five new appointments the company announced in December last year, which were similarly driven by increasing demand for the company’s services.

Graeme Miller, Director, Investment Services, for Towers Watson in Australia said: “Our investment team is now bigger and better resourced than it has ever been and we aim to further increase the depth and breadth of our expertise with appointments such as these, in line with market demand. We look forward to their contribution towards providing our clients with cutting-edge advice, which in turn will help us stay at the forefront of the investment industry in Australia.

Felicity Walsh joins as an investment consultant in the Sydney office, after ten years as a senior actuarial consultant with Towers Watson in its Birmingham, UK office. Felicity is a qualified actuary with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.

Alek Misev re-joins Towers Watson as a private markets consultant after almost a year as a portfolio manager with Aberdeen Asset Management in the Netherlands. Before this, Alek spent over three years with Towers Watson as an investment consultant focusing on private markets. Alek has a Master of Applied Finance and a Master of Business from the University of Western Sydney, as well as a Bachelor of Commercial Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Harrison Lane joins the Sydney team as a graduate investment analyst, having completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney.
