Towing Operator Pulls Man From Burning Vehicle
Kyle Evans witnessed a horrific crash on I-20 on May 28 involving four vehicles including and SUV and a tractor trailer.
Washington, DC, June 04, 2010 (PressReleasePoint) -- The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public, would like to acknowledge the recent efforts of Kyle Evans in Terrell, TX.
Kyle Evans witnessed a horrific crash on I-20 on May 28 involving four vehicles including and SUV and a tractor trailer. As the crash happened, the SUV burst into flames and Evans ran to the burning vehicle to help. He found a woman and two children had already perished but also found Wyndell Greene, alive. Using a blanket over his head and arm Evans reached in and took Greene by the hand, pullign him from the burning wreckage.
Kyle Evans was checked out for smoke inhalation. Four other people were hurt. Wyndell Greene is hospitalized in critical condition with third-degree burns. Kyle Evans is asking all drivers to pay attention behind the wheel. He says it's simple and common sense. But he has witnessed, too many times, the dangers of the road.
