Heatherette’s former Co-Founder and Designer to launch pop-art-inspired men’s collection, T. Rains, during L.A. Market at Connected Showroom in the Cooper Building (street level), 846 Los Angeles Street. March 19 - March 23

After a preview for American press at Project Las Vegas in February, the former Designer of Heatherette, Traver Raians, is scheduled to officially launch his men’s collection, T. Rains. It's the same Traver Rains who guest judged Project Runway season two and three Finales and who hosted America’s Next Top Model five times.

Since Heatherette, Traver made a triumphant return to photography, pushing the artistic boundaries by juxtaposing Western landscapes with modern, shocking characters. Think: photos of San Francisco heiress, Lydia Hearst, on a farm in Montana, draped with a bloody wedding dress. Traver rediscovered an affinity for Andy Warhol and the 1960’s Pop Art Movement. Now, the T. Rains movement is gaining momentum and Traver has his first Warhol-esque iconic pop-art piece: “Hold the Cheese!” Included in T. Rains’ first collection - an hysterical Cheeseburger tee. Now we just need to move him back to New York.” – Nylon Magazine

Traver says of his collection, “T. Rains is about complex, sexy, humorous, risqué conversation pieces.” The collection of t-shirts, tanks, and hoodies combine all that has influenced Traver; the lovechild of his Western roots and the glitzy big city that formed him: “In keeping with his cowboy style, the collection has a retro western feel, employing 60s pop art and images from his own photography.” –Coco Perez
