Trend Micro Named to Global 100 List of Most Sustainable Corporations

Cupertino, Calif. – February 03, 2010– Trend Micro has been ranked among the sixth annual Corporate Knights Global 100 List of corporations that have demonstrated high corporate social, environmental and governing responsibilities. The 2010 list was released during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Trend Micro is the only security company to make the select group compiled by Corporate Knights Inc., an independent Canadian-based media company focused on promoting and reinforcing sustainable development. The 2010 Global 100 tapped intelligence from the world's largest sustainability research alliance put together by Legg Mason's Global Currents Investment Management to isolate the top 10 percent of companies from a universe of 3,000 global stocks, which were then evaluated based on how well they manage social, environmental and governance responsibilities.

In addition to the Global 100 List, Trend Micro was also recognized by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for six consecutive years and, in 2009, was initiated into the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Indexes, which is comprised of leading, highly sustainable companies from the developed markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
