TORRANCE, Calif. –February 28, 2013– TRENDnet, a best-in-class wired and wireless networking hardware brand, is pleased to announce DISTREE EMEA presented TRENDnet with the coveted Home Networking Vendor of the Year award for the EMEA region.

DISTREE EMEA gathers senior executives from EMEA's ICT, telecoms, and consumer electronics channel. DISTREE EMEA is a powerful business platform for brands looking to manage, build, or launch routes-to-market within EMEA. More than 1,000 senior channel executives gathered at the Salle des Etoiles in Monaco on February 21, 2013, for the 'EMEA Channel Academy: 2013 Awards', held in conjunction with DISTREE EMEA.

Attending distributors and retailers used a live electronic voting system to select the top brand across 12 product categories. Five nominated networking brands, TRENDnet, D-Link, NETGEAR, TP-Link, and Linksys, vied for the honor of Home Networking Vendor of the Year. Voting took place in real time, followed by a presentation to TRENDnet as the home networking winner.
