The October programming on World of X Games focuses on complementing contest coverage with unique stories from the world of action sports. From motors to boards, the World of X Games lineup gives fans an inside look into a few of the most incredible trips, journeys and missions from around the world from the eyes of the top action sports stars.

WSL Surfing Stop #7 Billabong Pro Teahupo’o
Airs: 10/1 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

Australian Julian Wilson took home victory at the seventh stop of the World Surf League Championship Tour in Tahiti. In his third CT victory, Wilson beat out Brazilian Gabriel Medina in the final round to move him up to fifth place on the Jeep Leaderboard. In an exciting final, it was the Australian scoring a near-perfect 9.73 in the final minutes to take the win.

Trail of Missions
Airs: 10/8 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

The Trail of Missions 2017 is the ultimate exploration of everything the Baja Peninsula has to offer. For over a decade the Desert Assassins have been sharing remote off road adventures in Baja. In 2017, the Trail of Missions hosts 60 off-road enthusiasts, including 16-time X Games medalist Brian Deegan and successful car racing daughter Hailie, and Rob MacCachren, the most successful off road racer of all time. Cameron Steele, a 19-year X Games host and more than three decade Baja racer, leads the group along the “El Camino Real” or Royal Road as they take in the beauty and remoteness of Baja while visiting historical missions dating back as far as the 1600’s.

The 2017 UTV World Championship
Airs: 10/15 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

The 2017 UTV World Championship features over 300 of the world’s top Polaris RZR drivers competing in desert, short course and youth racing competitions. The world’s biggest UTV race, the UTV World Championship features the roughest and most-challenging off-road racing on the planet. The show highlights world class racer Rhys Millen, viral superstar and off-road champion RJ Anderson, and short course champion Cody Bradbury.

Jackson Strong’s Outback to X Games 2
Airs: 10/22 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

Outback to X Games 2 follows three-time X Games gold medalist Jackson ‘Jacko’ Strong on his journey through training for X Games Minneapolis 2017. Battling back from a broken wrist injury suffered while filming his Real Moto video part, Jacko gives fans a behind the scenes look into all the preparation that goes into winning an X Games medal.

Airs: 10/22 at 3:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ABC

FREESURFER focuses on the soul of surfing, featuring the best freesurf sessions with top pro surfers from around the world. Instead of focusing on contests, scores and judges, FREESURFER gives an inside look at pure surfing. The episode provides a unique look into surf trips around the globe only the top surfers in the world have experienced.

Twenty-Four Featuring Sammy Carlson
Airs: 10/29 at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on ABC

In his new film Twenty-Four, eight-time X Games medalist Sammy Carlson spends the entire winter in his adopted hometown of Revelstoke, BC, where the Canadian mountains received record snowfall. Celebrating his 24th year skiing, Sammy continues to push himself and the entire sport, taking big mountain skiing to new heights. All of Sammy’s trademark pillow lines, aggressive style and smooth tricks are on display, as he makes his 24th year on skis his best one yet.

Dropping Next – Ben Ferguson
Airs: 10/29 at 3:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT on ABC

Hailed as one of the next big things in snowboarding, halfpipe rider Ben Ferguson has earned the respect of snowboard judges and peers alike. But the reality of competing to become a top halfpipe threat on the U.S. Team, while at the same time following his passion chasing storms and riding powder, has become a bigger challenge than he expected. With the Olympics in Korea closing in, and all eyes on Ben to be at the forefront this season, Dropping Next is a story about snowboarding and what it really means to one individual.

WSL Surfing Stop #8 Hurley Pro at Trestles
Airs: 10/29 at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ABC

Brazilian surfers laid claim to the famed break at Lower Trestles, with Filipe Toledo and Silvana Lima tearing up the three foot surf. Earning a win over current points leader Jordy Smith in the semifinals, Toledo became the only male surfer to win two Championship Tour events this season. The win moves him up to seventh on the Jeep Leaderboard.
