Turning Leaf Advisors Successfully Negotiated a Short Sale with the FDIC for $3,014,000 obtaining "Full and Final Release"
November 20, 2009 Portland, OR - Turning Leaf Advisors, LLC (TLA), a loss mitigation firm that provides help for individuals, developers and families facing foreclosure, has successfully negotiated a “Bulk” short sale with the FDIC for $3,014,000. The short sale totaled 79 properties: consisting of platted residential lots and completed homes.
Negotiations began in January of 2009, after the Bank of Clark County, in Vancouver, WA was closed by the Washington Department of Financial Institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver.
TLA was able to negotiate a full and final release for the Seller of $7,000,000 and was able to get creditors and lien holders paid in full to lessen the financial impact to those involved with the transaction in the local community.
Moneta Enterprises of Vancouver, WA developed detailed exit strategies for the buyers to make it economically feasible for a take-down of such large quantities of unfinished product in Clark County; where new construction permits continue to show a definite slowdown in the economy.
Turning Leaf Advisors, LLC is one of the largest and most successful Short Sale negotiation firms in the country. They have closed hundreds of millions of dollars of loss mitigation transactions contributed in part to its dedicated and experienced staff and a streamlined business model.
