Rachel Johnson is the new Head of Careers at UCAS Media, the trading arm of UCAS (the UK’s higher education admissions service).

The senior role has been created to develop UCAS Media’s offering to businesses, giving employers more opportunities to engage with students at different stages, from 16 year olds to graduates.

Rachel will lead the existing careers team who help employers reach the UCAS audience with career opportunities, through digital platforms and the CareerZone at UCAS conventions.

Rachel Johnson, Head of Careers at UCAS Media, said: “UCAS Media is perfectly positioned to help companies start conversations with students, at times when crucial career choices are being made.

“The strong foundation of the UCAS brand, our digital offering and face-to-face events give our clients brilliant opportunities to get their messages across to young people. I look forward to leading the team as we develop our careers proposition for employers over the coming months.”

Rachel joins UCAS Media having worked at the graduate careers site Milkround for nearly nine years, and also as General Manager for NotGoingToUni.co.uk. Rachel reports directly to Jeremy Phillips, UCAS Media’s Managing Director who started in February 2014.
