ContentClickallows bloggers to earn extra revenue from their content whilst providing advertisers with a new channel for generating customers

London, UK., January 23, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) -  – ContentClick, the new UK tech start-up, launches today to provide a genuine alternative for bloggers looking to earn additional revenue from their blogs whilst allowing advertisers access to millions of blog readers.

Backed by industry heavyweights including ex-Emap chief, Sir Robin Miller, as non-executive chairman, Content Click offers the UK’s tens of thousands of bloggers extra revenue by adding a free, simple WordPress plugin (or JavaScript tag) to their blog.

The widget, which seamlessly harmonises with each blog’s look and tone, displays content links that either drive traffic to ContentClick’s own suite of high quality blogs including Mind the Munchies, Mind the Money and Entertainment Dailyor high quality 3rd party content that is vetted to ensure it adds value to a reader’s experience.  Written by teams of experienced journalists, ContentClick’s own blogs generate cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-lead (CPL) leads for advertisers.

A major advantage of ContentClick is that bloggers can raise extra revenue easily whilst being certain that the linked content is of high quality and relevant to their readers and advertising audience (via a detailed content matching algorithm).
Founded by Alex Attinger and his sister Jessica Attinger in 2013, ContentClick is not designed to replace Google AdSense but canbe used either in conjunction with it or as a standalone widget.

Jessica Attinger, co-founder of ContentClick, says: “What inspired me to create ContentClick was that I was already writing my own personal blog and I saw an obvious need to offer an alternative to Google’s AdSense product.  This became very clear after Google’s 2013 changes to their AdSense product which saw earnings for some bloggers drop considerably.”

Alex Attinger, co-founder of ContentClick, adds: “From an advertiser’s perspective, ContentClick offers a new route to accessing millions of daily page impressions within the blogging ecosphere.  Our beta testing shows that we are doing better on the eCPM side than AdSense formats and traditional display advertising placements.”
