Union County Sheriff’s Office of South Carolina Purchases ledsSuite Software for 911 Center

The Union County Sheriff’s Office of South Carolina has selected ledsSuite’s computer-aided dispatch software from Zuercher Technologies to upgrade their 911 center. The previous software the Union County Sheriff’s Office was using limited their capabilities and did not fit with their dispatch process. The ledsCAD software was selected because of its many configuration options and its ease of use.

Sioux Falls, SD, United States., February 26, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -The Union County Sheriff’s Office of South Carolina has selected ledsSuite’s computer-aided dispatch software from Zuercher Technologies to upgrade their 911 center.

The previous software the Union County Sheriff’s Office was using limited their capabilities and did not fit with their dispatch process.  The ledsCAD software was selected because of its many configuration options and its ease of use.  ledsCAD will also be interfacing with the county’s existing mapping software from WTH GIS to increase efficiency and save the county money already invested in the GIS mapping system.

Also included in the system is the powerful ledsReporting tool.  By using ledsReporting, the Union County Sheriff’s Office will be able to create agency specific reports, analyze data, compile statistics, and perform crime analysis easily and quickly.

Another important factor was the number and type of services Zuercher Technologies offers with their standard maintenance agreement.  Zuercher Technologies takes 100% responsibility for their servers, including the operating system. The company also monitors server performance, offers rolling backups, and provides technology refreshes whenever needed.  Each year, they release three to four major software updates which continue the ongoing enhancement of the solution, thus protecting their customers’ investments.
