United Civil Construction becomes Union Square’s first New Zealand Client

United Civil Construction is a leading civil engineering construction company specialising in the delivery of complex projects in the Northland.  United Civil will go live with Union Square for Construction next month, reflecting changes in working practice and moving away from the traditional, manual ways of working to an efficient, streamlined and automated approach.

Contracts Manager Lee Clasper is very excited about the changes planned at United Civil:

Union Square is a user friendly system and provides the flexibility that was needed to match our requirements.  It will mean documents and emails are no longer stored separately.  Instead, everyone will be working off one central system, saving time and avoiding data duplication.

Implementing Union Square will bring many benefits to the business, including the provision of a central repository where all data and documents can be stored and accessed.  The system will ensure the effective and efficient storage and management of emails, documents and drawings.  Union Square empowers staff by providing them with knowledge on-the-go, so whether they are working in the office, from home, or on site, the ability to have on-going and instant access to information from a range of sources and devices is invaluable.  This capacity to improve internal and external communication was one of the fundamental reasons behind United Civil’s decision to select Union Square for Construction. Lee went on to say:

“The general look and feel of Union Square is great, there are no restrictions with how it could be used for us, unlike with similar products on the market.  It offered great value for money and felt tailored to our needs, while already being at a place where it could instantly solve our problems. We are expecting significant improvements in both the control and visibility of all our business information”

Looking to the future, United Civil is set to benefit from improved efficiency through the centralisation of its information.  This ensures that project data is always up to date, allowing the company to make informed, proactive decisions.  If you would like further information on Union Square for Construction, click here
