University of Illinois Cancer Center seeking Research Associate II

The University of Illinois Cancer Center (UICC) is seeking candidates for a Research Associate II as the primary administrator accessing, reporting, integrating and customizing the OnCore clinical trials management application. He or she is responsible for training and support of all OnCore users; serves as liaison between UICC, associate research teams, vendor and OnCore consortium; and chairs the OnCore Advisory Committee.

The responsibilities are to be primary support for UICC clinical research database to faculty, researchers, UI staff and affiliates; oversee training and access; coordinate the evaluation of changes in research data, production data to keep in compliance with University of Illinois, federal and other external policies and procedures. Duties also include collecting, processing and analyzing data with regards to reports; development of custom reports, monitor activity and assure compliance to federal, local, and sponsor regulations for research trials conducted a UICC, sub-sites and affiliates. This position may assist with research study protocol development, coordinate ordering, inventory and maintenance of equipment, instruments, data collection, and analysis tools.

Minimum of BA or BS in health sciences or related field with a minimum of one year related research experience, data management and querying (SQL) required. Must have experience with clinical research trials operations and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with clinical trial regulatory affairs and/or protocol development, including proficiency with analytical tools for report writing preferred. Familiarity with case report form content and development, experience with clinical applications and clinical informatics, Oncore clinical trials management system, Oracle database desired.
