URS Awarded Program Management Services Contract by the U.S. Postal Service

SAN FRANCISCO —  December 2, 2013 —  URS Corporation is one of three companies to be awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to provide nationwide program management services for the USPS portfolio of facilities, which consists of more than 32,700 facilities nationwide.

Under the contract, URS will compete for and be awarded task orders to provide the USPS with program management services, including design, construction management, and construction, and will develop a project and program management system to expedite communications, streamline administrative efforts, and improve the facilities’ supply chain management.

Commenting on the contract, Gary V.
