U.S. Bank Launches Mobile Photo Bill Pay

PDF versionAfter some internal testing, U.S. Bank has updated its mobile banking applications with the ability extract bill payment information by using a smartphone to take a photo of a payment slip.
Essentially, customers who want to use the bill pay service will not have to enter the information to process the payment — the mobile imaging technology takes care of it. The feature is free of charge.
To get Mobile Photo Bill Pay, customers must get the latest version of the U.S. Bank mobile apps for iPhone or Android.
