Standards Group Taps Expertise of Industry Leader

Cranberry Township, PA – December 11, 2013 – AIM, the industry association and worldwide authority on barcode, RFID, RTLS and mobile computing, is pleased to congratulate Chuck Evanhoe, President of Evanhoe & Associates, for his selection as the Chairman of the ADC1 Technical Advisory Group (TAG).


Also referred to as the US Technical Advisory Group to ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC31, the group is comprised of companies that support U.S. participation in the ISO/IEC standardization process for automatic identification and mobile technology. Through their efforts, ADC1 TAG members contribute and influence the development of critical international industry standards. This, in turn, plays a vital role in maintaining a U.S. presence and leadership role in the adoption of emerging technologies around the globe.

Mr. Evanhoe, whose firm is headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, has significant standards expertise and has served in a variety of leadership roles within the AIDC industry. Currently, he serves as the Board Chairman of AIM, Inc., and was recently named Chair for INCITS SG on IoT.
