Dublin, Ireland., April 9, 2014 - (PressReleasePoint) -
Following a period of economic growth for Dublin’s economy , leading commercial vehicle retailer, Van Monster, has made an investment of €300,000 in the area, with a new branch.
Located just a stone’s throw from the city’s international airport, it represents the first dedicated used van dealer in Ireland.
Providing local tradesmen and business owners with quality used vehicles at competitive prices, the new branch became fully operational this month and is located on the bustling Old Airport Road. The new branch marks Van Monster’s entry into the Irish market and will be the tenth branch for the company - launching exactly ten years since the business was first established in 2004.
Situated in a prime location with a capacity for over 140 used vehicles, Van Monster Dublin will offer business owners a variety of premium manufacturer brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, as well as popular manufacturers including Ford and Peugeot. The company is confident about the new branch’s potential and within three years expects to be selling around 1,000 units a year from the site.
Gary Sullivan, Managing Director at Van Monster, commented:
“Ireland’s economy is back on the road to growth and as a result the need for a quality used van dealer is higher than ever. We wanted to meet this demand, and with it fill a growing gap in the market. Ireland is devoid of such a supply of used vans and the new branch will give local businesses and tradesmen access to a consistent supply and volume of quality vehicles.”
Gary continued: “The new branch will provide business owners with an extensive variety of vehicles. We currently stock over 1,000 vans in the group between one to five years old and are extremely confident that our new Ireland branch will further strengthen our growth throughout 2014 and thereafter.”
The new branch offers Ireland a truly unique service and will provide its customers with quality stock from Northgate Vehicle Hire’s fleet. It will bring four new jobs to the area at its launch, with a further position anticipated when fully functional.
Dave Dalton, Branch Manager at Van Monster Dublin, commented:
“There isn’t currently a dedicated used van dealer operating in Dublin, or indeed Ireland, with the kind of stock and volume Van Monster is offering at its new branch. As such, we feel that the quality service and product we are providing will be of huge value to local tradesmen and businesses - and we anticipate a successful year of trading ahead.”
