Implementation of newest BladeRack 2 XL platform highlights market demand for energy-efficient, high-performance ultra-high density storage and computing solutions for demanding Web 2.0 applications

San Diego, Calif. - May 6, 2008-- Verari Systems today announced that it has completed a milestone shipment of its platform-independent blade-based storage and computing solutions to a global innovative technology provider. The undisclosed provider hosts data and enterprise applications based on Web 2.0 infrastructures. The installation contained over 500 of Verari's newest product, the SB5550XL DataServerT, which consisted of over 4.6 petabytes of storage. The SB5550XL DataServer is Verari's latest blade-based storage and server hybrid solution in its newly introduced BladeRack® 2 XL platform.
