Appointment to bolster rapidly growing business unit

Bothell, WA – February 26, 2013 – Vertafore (http://www.vertafore.com), the leading provider of software that transforms the business of insurance, today announced the hiring of Larry Hagerty, as senior vice president and general manager of its Producer Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Information business.  Reporting to CEO Euan Menzies, Hagerty is charged with leading Vertafore’s Producer Lifecycle Management and Information business which streamlines producer licensing and compliance along with providing easy access to essential insurance information and services.

Hagerty possesses extensive executive experience with information and technology based service businesses.   He has served as President of MedAptus, a healthcare revenue-cycle software firm, and as CEO of Medstat, a Thomson Reuters Healthcare subsidiary. Both of these organizations experienced significant growth during Hagerty’s tenure.

Hagerty holds an M.B.A. from Dartmouth and a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
