Email Marketing Template Designers Win $4,000 in Prizes

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Dec 6, 2010– VerticalResponse, Inc. (http://www.verticalresponse.com), a leading provider of self-serviceemail marketing,online surveyanddirect mailsolutions for small businesses, announces its first-ever Email Template Design Challenge, calling all current and aspiring HTML designers to submit their winning templates. Submissions accepted now through January 14, 2011.

“Just as fashions change with the seasons, we decided that email templates needed an update,” said Janine Popick, CEO, VerticalResponse. “We all know that a fresh look can get more response for an email campaign, so small businesses don’t need to stick with the same old designs when they can jumpstart their email marketing campaigns with a makeover in 2011. Our contest challenges designers everywhere to make email templates fresh and relevant.”

Anyone can enter the design challenge in these three simple steps:

A panel of expert judges will select the top designs by January 19, 2011. These designs will then be posted for public voting from January 19-31, 2011. The top three winners will be announced January 24, 2011, and their template designs will be built into the VerticalResponse upgraded Email Creation editors for all VerticalResponse customers use.

Winners will receive Apple® gift cards for $2,500 (1st place), $1,000 (2nd place) and $500 (3rd place), and their email template designs will be featured for all VerticalResponse customers when they log into the service.
