Vikas Mehra shares Placement tips during FDP at JB Knowledge Park

JB Knowledge Park organised Faculty Development Programme for enhancing their interaction with the students. The programme was aimed at using latest technologies in education and daily curriculum.

Faridabad, Haryana, India., March 6, 2013 - (PressReleasePoint) -Faridabad, March 2013:- One day Faculty Development Program was organised at JB Knowledge Park, a premier engineering and management college in the heart of Faridabad. The program, aimed at training the staff with the latest in gadgets and technology, was chaired by Mr. Ajay Singh – Advisor & CEO, Success Mantra and Mr. Vikas Mehra – Training & Placement Head, Manav Rachna.
Addressing the faculty members, Dr. Harshit Sinha – Dean, JB Knowledge Park, stated that the institution believes in continuous learning and improvement. Since the technology advances fast, faculty at any engineering institution can impart the best of education only when they are always up to date with the latest in the industry. It thus translates into enhancing quality education and benefitting our students.
Mr. Vikas Mehra appreciated the event and referred that such an event becomes a mandate due to rapidly changing technology. Illustrating further he recalled Moore’s Law which states that the number of building blocks in any electronic device doubles approx. every eighteen months.
Mr. Ajay Singh emphasized on the digitization happening in the Indian education system. He advised that in coming sessions, students also be trained to prepare themselves for industrial challenges. Prepared students receive a healthy welcome from the industry.
The daylong event was divided in two parts. The first part emphasized on utilizing technology to improve communication skills which further helps in better subject matter delivery to the students. The second part was kept more interactive to discuss the day to day practical problems. The event ended with thanks giving note from Dean, Dr. Harshit Sinha.
