Vincent Associates, is proud to announce that the DSS shutters will now be guaranteed for 2,000,000 Cycles*.

Rochester, NY January 22, 2010 Vincent Associates, is proud to announce that the DSS shutters will now be guaranteed for 2,000,000 Cycles*. This was made possible with the introduction of the Patent Pending DSS Shutter series and the unsurpassed reliability that this device has demonstrated. As far as is known, this is the first time that a shutter manufacturer has guaranteed the operational life of an electro-mechanical shutter device of this type.
The reliability of the DSS devices has been enhanced by containing only two unique moving parts (the drive ring and the blades). This in conjunction with their bi-stable operation (and when driving the shutter with the new ED12DSS driver) has provided the most reliable device of its kind available.
These devices will be available through our on-line ordering system as well as in an evaluation kit which will include: choice of shutter aperture (10mm, 20mm, or 25mm), ED12DSS driver, interconnect cables and documentation.
