Originally from Eastern Europe (Hungary), the Vizsla is a medium-sized, short-coated sporting dog that is primarily Pointer in type, although they mix characteristics of both pointer and retriever. A beautiful golden rust in color, this "dual" canine is popular in both the field and the show ring due to his power and drive while hunting and its trainability in the ring.
