Mehta, spoke on behalf of the Philadelphia Bar Association at the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Naturalization Ceremony.

Mehta, spoke on behalf of the Philadelphia Bar Association at the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Naturalization Ceremony, held on January 19, 2012 at the U.S. Courthouse at Sixth and Market Streets in Philadelphia.  The ceremony was presided over by the Honorable Thomas N. O’Neill, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. 

Mehta specializes in patent prosecutions, licensing, due diligence studies, and intellectual property litigation.  His patent prosecution experience focuses on electrical devices and wireless systems for both domestic and foreign clients.  He serves as Chair Elect of the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.  Mehta is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars, and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  He sits on the Board of the South Asian Bar Association of Philadelphia and is a member of the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Ben Franklin Inn of Court.  Mehta earned his J.D. at Rutgers University School of Law, and both his M.S. in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on communications and electronic circuits, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on semiconductor devices, from the University of Florida.
