Leveraging Analytics, EDI, CRM, and Distribution Capabilities, W. Appliance to Eliminate Manual Reporting and Strengthen Purchasing Processes with VAI's Fully Integrated S2K Software

Ronkonkoma, N.Y. - May 27, 2014 - VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.), a leading ERP software provider, announced that W. Appliance selected its S2K Enterprise software to automate and manage its entire order process. W. Appliance will also leverage S2K Analytics and S2K Enterprise Portal to gain insights into its customer and sales data, improve productivity, and deliver unparalleled customer service.

W. Appliance is an appliance and electronics company that represents the Westinghouse and other leading companies in the industry, including Concepts101 which represents AT&T, and sells phone and audio products; and Got Snacks which sells food items specializing in snacks.

W. Appliance sought a fully integrated ERP solution that included accounting, distribution, and Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) capabilities. At the same time, the company looked to eliminate manual processes associated with building reports and order entry, and to extract insight into customer and item sales data. W. Appliance also wanted a way for both vendors and customers to interact with the company via an online portal.

The ease of integration, coupled with the reliability of IBM’s Power Systems platform, made VAI’s S2K software a clear choice for W. Appliance.

“VAI has an impressive track record of delivering robust and reliable ERP software that evolves with organizations’ needs, so the decision to deploy S2K was a no brainer,” said Mike Moser, director of operations and IT, W. Appliance. “EDI is a huge component to our business and we needed a completely integrated system that could manage the entire order process while eliminating all manual input on our end. In addition, S2K Analytics will give us a clear and comprehensive picture into all of our customer and sales data so we can control costs and inventory management.

W. Appliance will leverage the following S2K applications: Analytics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Distribution Management, EDI Powered by S2K Integrator, Financial Management, and Portal.

“Time is money, and organizations cannot afford to be bogged down with manual processes associated with data entry, building reports, and implementation,” said Dan Bivona, sales director, VAI. “VAI S2K software streamlines the order entry process so that companies can focus on what matters - ensuring smooth business operations while delivering quality customer service. W. Appliance will realize significant benefits with our software, including improved productivity, streamlined purchasing process, and strong customer relationships - and we’re proud to be their ERP vendor of choice.”
