Washington Trust Hires Renza as Vice President and Wealth Management Planning Officer

Westerly, Rhode Island... Washington Trust has announced that John S. Renza III, of Hope, RI, has been appointed Vice President and Wealth Management Planning Officer. Renza will be responsible for developing relationships for the corporation's wealth management division office in Providence, R.I.

Renza has more than 13 years of financial advising experience, most recently as Vice President, Channel Management for Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, R.I. He earned a B.A. in English in 1994 from Boston College, where he currently sits on the Gift Committee of the Boston College Alumni Association. He also earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 1998 as well as an MBA from Bryant University in 2006. He and his wife, son and daughter live in Hope, RI.
