Each weekday afternoon, AccuWeather LIVE will be airing a new edition at 12 p.m. EST.

Viewers can check in with our meteorologists for updates with a live forecast of the latest weather developments. Today the show will focus on the blast of arctic air plunging temperatures in the Plains and pushing its way into the East.

Snow and ice will also dip unusually far south to start the week, going into the Carolinas, Georgia and even parts of the Gulf Coast.

Then, we will take a look at fan questions and comments to answer live on air before taking a look at how the forecast is expected to develop in the following days.
