Getting to and from campus by car and public transportation

  • Access the campus from the south side, on Westwood Plaza: From I-405, use the Wilshire Boulevard exit.
  • Do not use Sunset Boulevard, which is closed between Veteran Avenue and Hilgard Avenue. Charles E. Young Drive North is closed from Westwood Plaza to Royce Drive.
  • Find information on public transit and other alternatives to driving at UCLA Transportation.

  • Parking structures 4 and 7, which were flooded, will be closed for the next few days. Work crews are pumping water out of each structure. As soon as its possible, vehicles that were parked in the structures during the flood will be moved to a secure area. If your car was parked in either of these structures during the flood, complete this form. Transportation will contact you ASAP regarding your vehicle. If you need additional information, contact parking services: 310-206-3884. If you are unable to get to campus because your vehicle is inaccessible, administrative leave with pay may be an option to consider if necessary. Contact your supervisor. If you are able to work from home, please discuss telecommuting options with your supervisor.
  • In Lot 36, a number of emergency vehicles are being staged; permit holders may continue to park there or may park in Lot 32.
  • Campus visitors may park in Parking structures 2 and 3.
