Mosinee, WI - 10/03/2005Financial institutions today are finding the need for revenue-producing and highly efficient payment processing solutions as an ongoing strategic requirement. Equipping financial institutions with the ability to make educated and individualized decisions, Wausau Financial Systems (WFS) will be showcasing its payment processing solutions at the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) AFP 2005.

WFS Financial Product Line Manager, Doug Turner, shares, “Upgrading or implementing a new processing solution is an investment for a financial institution regardless of the institution’s size. AFP gives attendees the perfect opportunity to see technology up close. Additionally, it’s a great venue for the institution to make product and service comparisons. WFS distributed capture and wholesale lockbox products are installed nationally, in a large cross-section of financial institutions; we’re excited to meet and share with attendees WFS’ superior product offerings.”

WFS will host several product demonstrations highlighting –

• Wholesale Lockbox - Optima3® ImageRPS is a transactional-based platform that provides multiple workflow options for optimal speed and customer priority processing. Customers are able to handle various types of wholesale lockbox transactions including check only, check with doc image capture, multi’s and document only. Functionality includes automatic consolidation and output, up-front scanning, payee validation, all field data entry, the ability to key from image, and Full Page OCR.

• DigitalDeposit™ and DigitalLockbox™ – The latest in distributed capture technology that allows commercial customers to image capture and transfer a balanced image deposit to take advantage of electronic clearing options, streamline payment operations, and reduce transportation costs. With DigitalLockbox, remittance processors can take advantage of reduced mail float, better serve a geographically diverse customer base, and a diverse workflow of payments can be accepted and transmitted.
