Wavefront enhances national presence by expanding Business Development team in Ontario
TORONTO, CANADA – Wavefront, the National Centre of Excellence accelerating the growth and commercialization of wireless companies in Canada, announces the hire of Anthony (Tony) Thomas as Business Development Manager, Toronto.
“By strengthening our business development team in central Canada, Wavefront is improving our ability to fulfill our national mandate, accelerating the growth and success of Canadian wireless companies. We are bringing more benefits to more companies and supporting innovation nationally while fostering the competitiveness of Canadian companies in the global wireless technology market,” said James Maynard, President & CEO of Wavefront.

Thomas brings over 20 years of business development and management experience to his new role, including international B2B technology solutions providers, software and telecom management firms, and founding and staffing a large software application development laboratory. Prior to Wavefront, Thomas was Director, Sales and Marketing at Dancik International where he led sales of Enterprise-level ERP, B2B e-Commerce, B2B Electronic Data Interchange, Integrated Workplace Management Systems, and Business Intelligence software to manufacturers, wholesale distributors and large retailers in the building products industry. Anthony holds a BA in Economics (McMaster, Hamilton ON).
