Webtrends today announced it has achieved a Microsoft Gold Collaboration & Content competency, demonstrating its ability to meet Microsoft Corp. customers’ evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment. To earn a Microsoft Gold competency, partners must successfully demonstrate expertise through rigorous exams, culminating in Microsoft certifications. And to ensure the highest quality of services, Microsoft requires customer references for successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

This is the ninth consecutive year Webtrends has been given a Gold competency. This competency shows the company’s continued dedication to providing tier-one Microsoft SharePoint analytics solutions to Microsoft customers worldwide. Webtrends Analytics for SharePoint is designed specifically for the SharePoint environment and provides users with:

  • Easy measurement of SharePoint sites, including intranet, extranet and internet sites
  • Simple integration with SharePoint, enabling clean and easy integration, including an integrated “on/off switch” built into the SharePoint environment
  • Compatibility with Office 365, SharePoint 2013, and SharePoint 2010
  • Accurate and useful measurement of SharePoint usage and adoption by site, user, geography, or other segments of interest
  • Insights to improve usage levels, adoption, usability, and collaboration

Achieving this Microsoft Gold Collaboration and Content Competency for the ninth year in a row is a solid validation point for how hard our team at Webtrends works to remain a top competitive solution for SharePoint analytics,” said Jeff Seacrist, Vice President of Product Strategy at Webtrends. “As we enter into 2014, providing a top-notch SharePoint analytics solutions for our customers will remain a major priority for our company.”

“By achieving a Gold competency, organizations have proven their expertise in specific technology areas, placing them among the top 1 percent of Microsoft partners worldwide,” said Phil Sorgen, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. “When customers look for a partner to meet their business challenges, choosing a company that has attained Microsoft competencies is a smart move. These are highly qualified professionals with access to Microsoft technical support and product teams.”

The Microsoft Collaboration and Content competency helps Microsoft-Certified Partners take advantage of the growing services opportunity around SharePoint by demonstrating their ability to offer solutions that connect teams, improve access to information, and increase productivity. The Collaboration and Content competency was created in November 2012, as a result of the merging of the Portals and Collaboration, Content Management, Digital Marketing and Search competencies.

The Microsoft Partner Network helps partners strengthen their capabilities to showcase leadership in the marketplace on the latest technology, to better serve customers and, with 640,000 Microsoft partners in their ecosystem, to easily connect with one of the most active, diverse networks in the world.
