Ideal for engineers working on single mode optical cable networks, this well-designed meter conducts fast and accurate measurements of absolute light power in dBm and tests loss or relative power level in dB. This portable fiber optic power meter is used for the installation, debugging and maintenance of telecommunication networks, CATV networks and local network projects.
This handheld fiber optic power meter, model A0670011, features a compact size, light weight and low power consumption, which make it suitable for use in the field. It operates over a wavelength range from 780nm to 1700nm with an input range of -43dBm to 27dBm at an accuracy of ± 1%. The power meter boasts a large high resolution backlit LCD screen for clear view of measurement results and provides a 3000µm Ge optical detector. Both FC and SC connectors are available. This compact meter, powered by two NiMH AA batteries, works continuously for 20 hours on a full charge.
