(March 3, 2009) Asheville, N.C. – When times are good, you should be spending marketing dollars. When times are tough, you MUST be marketing your business.

What to do, when you’re the “marketing specialist” and with limited resources? The March 2009 Public Relations Association of Western North Carolina luncheon will present Linda Brandt and “Marketing for PR Gurus Who Wear Many Hats,” Friday, March 27, from 11:30am – 1pm p.m., at Broadmoor Country Club, Fletcher. Members: $15; Non-Members: $25.

President of her own strategic marketing firm, LB Marketing Services, Linda understands what it’s like to wear many hats: She spent 15 years handling marketing projects for Fortune 100 companies and International Advertising Agencies in New York City. For the last 10 years, Linda has worked with small to mid-sized businesses in WNC and Upstate SC providing marketing expertise to grow companies in all types of industries.

“There is business out there, and you can increase sales in a volatile economy if you know how. It is not about spending more money, but doing your marketing a whole lot smarter with fewer dollars. We’re not talking rock science, just simple, focused strategies that –when followed - will help any business,” Linda said.
