Tom Westley continued his fine form in the NatWest T20 Blast competition by blowing away the Castle Park crowd after a 105-run blitz on the Kent Spitfires bowling attack. The Eagles secured a 63-run victory over rivals Kent for the opening match of the Colchester Cricket Festival, sponsored by Beaumont Seymour with Westley playing a pivotal role.

Tom spoke after play to reflect on one of the best moment of his young career so far as the Eagles remain top of the South Group ten games gone in the competition.

The Colchester Cricket Festival, sponsored by Beaumont Seymour continues on Monday for day two of the LV= County Championship match versus Hampshire after day one’s play was abandoned due to rain.

If you are looking to catch more T20 Blast action then secure your tickets for the match against Hampshire on Tuesday 22 July at The E.C.G which are available now – more information
