Wicomico County Department of Corrections, MD Selects Jail Management Software Solution from Zuercher Technologies

The Wicomico County Department of Corrections has announced the purchase of ledsJail jail management software from Zuercher Technologies. Partnered with inmate phone services from ICSolutions, the new software was selected after a review process of over two years.

Partnered with inmate phone services from ICSolutions, the new software was selected after a review process of over two years.

The Wicomico County Department of Corrections has a maximum inmate population of 509 and processes over 5,000 detainees annually.  Finding a software system that met all their needs and allowed them to have all their key information in one location was essential.  The ledsJail software will provide tracking tools for every part of the facility, from comprehensive inmate booking and property management to in-depth facility financial information.

The installation will also include several integrated peripheral technologies, such as mug shot cameras and electronic signature pads.  These special hardware items have been specifically formatted to work seamlessly with ledsJail to streamline many daily tasks within the facility.  Additional interfaces with outside applications, such as victim notification and state reporting, will help the staff cut back on duplicate data entry.
