The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public, would like to acknowledge the towing community of Wisconsin.

Washington, DC, May 13, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public, would like to acknowledge the towing community of Wisconsin.

On April 26, 2011, more than 100 tow trucks rolled into West Bend and lined up behind a truck that was missing its driver. The life of 58-year-old Dan Bobholz was taken while he was on the job April 19th. The driver of an SUV lost control on U.S. Highway 41 near West Bend. The SUV pushed Bobholz against his own truck and he was later hit by a passing semi.

The last truck Bobholz used was the lead in his funeral procession as dozens of trucks began the four mile trek to the funeral home.

Dozens more waited on overpasses to pay their respects and to watch the tremendous tribute of trucks.

In September, Bobholz's name will be added to the Wall of the Fallen memorial in Chattanooga, TN that honors those involved fatalities in the towing industry.
