Born in 1957 in Berkshire, Sally inherited her ability to paint from her mother. Apart from notional lessons at school she did not pick up a paint brush again until her mid forties when she re-discovered the joy that she managed to derived from painting, particularly animals.

She mainly works in watercolors and loves the challenge of capturing her subject’s personality on paper. She now lives in Worcestershire with her husband and menagerie of animals including a black Labrador and manic spaniel. Sally has a studio within the house which overlooks the water meadows of the river Severn which makes a perfect setting for inspiration.
