World Class Solutions CEO explains how New Support Service will boost clients' Sales Revenue
Cork, Ireland April 24, 2009
Most companies wouldn't mind a boost to their sales, particularly in these recessionary times. World Class Solutions (WCS) CEO Pat Hough believes that is not only possible but it will actually be easier than ever before - providing businesspeople are wiling to make some changes. Speaking at the launch of WCS's new website he explains why he believes that the next year and a half – from May 2009 to December 2010 will be the best time for dynamic CEOs to expand their sales.
“Just look at what's just happening in the market”, he pointed out. “On the one hand prices and salaries are falling. Unemployment has increased. But that means governments are beginning to look at new ways to help people start their own business. There will soon be more start-up businesses and each of these will need services and products to get off the ground.”
He agrees that there will be less money in the economy but he doesn't see this as a limiting factor. “Don't forget, a lot of people made a lot of money over the last 10 years. The clever ones could see what was happening and took their money out of the volatile areas. Now they're just waiting, biding their time until they spot a good opportunity. These people are going to invest but they're going to do it sensibility.”
And what is a sensible investment? Pat Hough explains again, “No matter how good an opportunity looks on paper a business has to have effective systems to capture customers. We know that customers will be much harder to find over the next few years and that's why only those with industrial-strength sales systems are going to thrive – but that's exactly where grow opportunities exist.”
So how does the WCS service help the client? “We have carried out a lot of research on what sales techniques and systems actually work. We found that applying off-the-shelf solutions is not an effective way forward. Our approach is to discover exactly what our client's customers need and then build focused systems around that need. In simple terms, we have to start by understand the customer but there is no point in doing that if the mechanisms are not in place to take the next step.”
