World Class Solutions launch CAT Analysis Service

World Class Solutions (WCS) have pioneered a new technique called CAT analysis to address this important issue. The acronym stands for “critical activity trace” analysis and the technique is used to identify activities that cannot be eliminated or reduced without serious consequences.

CEO Pat Hough explained the background to the launch of the service. “We found that many companies are looking at ways to save money. They rightly suspect that many of their processes are inefficient but the reaction is to cut budgets across the board. That means that critical activities are cut and the company begins to struggle. One of the key benefits of implementing CAT analysis is that process complexity is reduced and this leads to a reduction in the number of errors and mistakes that are made. Pat Hough explained that these benefits can be realized by large and small companies. “Large corporations using CAT analysis will save more money in absolute terms but the percentage gain can be greater in small companies.”
