Worth & Company Receives Top Honors for Mechanical Contracting at ABC Eastern PA's Annual Construction "Awards of Excellence"

On November 16, 2011, Worth & Company, Inc., a leading regional provider of mechanical contracting and maintenance services, received multiple awards at the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors’ (“ABC Eastern PA”) 21st Annual Construction “Awards of Excellence” Banquet.

Pipersville, PA, United States., December 5, 2011 - (PressReleasePoint) - On November 16, 2011, Worth & Company, Inc., a leading regional provider of mechanical contracting and maintenance services,  received multiple awards at the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors’ (“ABC Eastern PA”) 21^st Annual Construction “Awards of Excellence” Banquet.  The Firm was named Best Specialty Contractor in the “Over $10 Million” category and was recognized with Merit Awards in the “Heavy Construction – Public Works,” “Industrial,” and “Specialty – Mechanical” categories. ABC Eastern PA is part of ABC, a national trade association representing over 23,000 general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and associates who believe in the merit philosophy.  The organization’s “Awards of Excellence” Banquet honors top performing Chapter members.
 
Worth & Company’s 2011 Merit Award in the “Heavy Construction – Public Works” category is related to its work at the Lititz Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade, in Lititz, Pennsylvania, where the Firm was the Lead Prime General Contractor for the upgrade and expansion of the Lititz Waste Water Treatment Plant to improve nutrient removal, UV disinfection and biosolids drying capabilities.  The Firm’s Merit Award in the “Industrial” category was related to its work at Kreider Farms (Phase II), located in Manheim, Pennsylvania, where Worth & Company installed a nutrient management facility that produced renewable energy from dairy and chicken waste, ultimately reducing  discharges of ammonia emissions and nitrogen to the Susquehanna Watershed.  Worth & Company’s 2011 Merit Award in the “Specialty – Mechanical” category is related to its work at the PA Turnpike Industrial Park Building, in Middletown, Pennsylvania, where the Firm provided a Tier 3 Data Center under multi-prime construction framework in an existing 103,000 square foot building.
