Woxter to unveil new DS2-based powerline products at CeBIT 2010

Madrid, Spain, 1st March 2010 (PressReleasePoint) – Woxter, a leading manufacturer of AV, storage and multimedia products, is to showcase new DS2-based wireline products for home networking and home entertainment at the upcoming CeBIT Trade Show. Visitors at this year's show will be able to see Woxter’s new Powerline PLC-200 and Woxter Powerline PLC-100 Wall-Plug Adapters, as well as the new Powerline Communication Wireless 802.11g Router – all powered by DS2 technology – at the Woxter stand (K03) in Hall 14/15. Woxter and DS2 executives, including Woxter CEO, Javier Parraga, will also be available to discuss key trends in home entertainment and home networking.

Our award winning DS2-based multi-room HDMI extender, VideoLAN, which was launched in January will be the centrepiece of our display. It sends a full HD signal throughout the house.

Woxter's new DS2-based offerings include:

* Woxter Powerline PLC-200 and Woxter Powerline PLC-100 Wall-Plug Adapters – easy-to-use powerline adapters that connect with PC, games consoles, TV decoders and any other electronic device for Internet sharing, online gaming, streaming HD content or to connect multiple PCs anywhere in the home. These adapters are available at PHY speeds of 100Mbps or 200Mbps that are fully inter-operable so that consumers can build or extend their home network.
* Woxter Powerline Communication Wireless 802.11g Router – a PLC 200Mbps Wireless Ethernet adapter which extends wireless capability through out the home.
