The Wrap Star gift wrapping competition being held on the sidelines of Paperworld Middle East 2014, will highlight and reward skilled gift wrapping practitioners from around the region, when it is held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre in March next year.
“The gift wrapping competition is designed to highlight the special skills and creativity involved in the process of dressing up attractive-looking presents. The competition also serves as an attractive show window for leading manufacturers of wrapping materials and products,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt.
After a successful debut at last year’s Paperworld Middle East, Epoc Messe Frankfurt is looking forward to hosting even more entries at the upcoming edition in March. The competition is open to boutique shops and major retail outlets such as department stores, malls and luxury boutiques which have an interest in or already provide gift wrapping as a service within their establishments.
The contest will also be useful for stores who use the art of gift wrapping as a way of creating appealing window displays in their shops as well as those involved in the creative industry who are looking to source materials for their work or as resources for educational facilities.
Competitors will be provided with wrapping material from a range of supporting exhibitors participating at Paperworld Middle East including: Francesco Brizzolari, Bolis, Toscana Carte Pregiate, Beaumont Group, Kiky and Chee Wah.
