Wrecker Driver Helps Police Nab Suspected Thieves
The Towing and Recovery Association of America endeavors to pass along positive news about the towing industry and places press releases in conjunction with these efforts. This release is a part of that effort.
Washington, DC, May 11, 2011 (PressReleasePoint) -- The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public, would like to acknowledge the efforts of a wrecker driver in Houston, TX.
Two men are facing robbery charges after a wrecker driver followed them from a robbery on the north side on March 15, 2011.
Police suspect the men robbed the Champions Auto Sale & Repair shop on Stuebner-Airline. They arrested the men a short time later on the North Freeway at Little York. Officers believe the men broke into several cars at the shop and last night. One of the suspects even attacked a security guard there.
A wrecker driver noticed a car fitting the suspect's description and called it into police. The men now face robbery charges.
