New UK-Based Office Expands World Wide Technology’s European Presence
and Supports its Global Accounts
ST. LOUIS and LONDON – March 13, 2013 – World Wide Technology (WWT),a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions,today announced expansion into Europe with the opening of a new office in London. The new location is WWT’s largest sales and engineering office outside North America and marks a bold expansion into the European market, where WWT is already engaged in annual business that exceeds $100 million in value. The WWT office will be located in London’s business district.
WWT’s London-based European sales and engineering team will have the same high levels of technology certification and industry expertise as WWT’s North American personnel, including the highest certification levels from major technology manufactures such as Cisco, Citrix, EMC, HP, VMware and NetApp. The group will work in close collaboration with the WWT’s global account, technical and supply chain teams located around the world and at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis. The London location will also have seamless integration with WWT’s state-of-the-art Advanced Technology Center that provides customers a way to explore the latest technology trends and examine best-of-breed solutions through product demonstrations, technology trainings, proof-of-concept testing, hands-on workshops and partner events.
