Wyse Technology First to Deliver Microsoft RemoteFX Certified Desktop and Mobile Thin Clients

SAN JOSE, Calif. – 12/14/2011 -Wyse Technology, the global leader incloud client computing, today announced it is the first company to provide certified Microsoft RemoteFX Enabled thin and zero framework clients.  This certification elevates Wyse thin clients to new levels of virtual desktop performance when running in a Microsoft Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services environment. No other thin or zero client vendor has achieved Microsoft RemoteFX logo certification.

Microsoft RemoteFX leverages the power of virtualized graphics resources and advanced codecs to recreate the fidelity of hardware-assisted graphics acceleration, including support for 3D content and Windows Aero, on a remote user's device.  This allows for a local-like, remote user experience over a variety of possible host, client and network configurations.
